Weirdly, I care more about how I look now at 49 than I ever did as a younger woman. I don’t know if it’s the sunspots and fading lashes and brows, or just finally growing up enough to want to look put together. Whatever it is, here I am, “all in” in the beauty world.

I wanted to get my own eyeliner permanently applied because I was never very good at applying it myself. Plus it smudged and made it look like I had shadows under my eyes–more than my usual dark circles which didn’t need any help at all. 😛

Then I had my brows done because my hair is getting more and more fair and even thinning at the tails.

These two things make me feel so put together, without any work at all! I liked it so much that when I needed to find a job to help my family, this is what I wanted to do.

It’s hard growing up and seeing your body change. Some things you can control, while others you can’t. I called my business Rise & Shine, because with permanent cosmetics you are free. One thing is always within your control, no matter the fuss, the time of day, rain or shine. You will always look like your best you.

It’s my hope that you’ll rise above and beyond and shine in whatever you do. And if you choose permanent cosmetics, you’ll consider coming to see me. It’s my mission to give you a happy, uplifting experience so that you can be your best self, any time, anywhere.
